76 days to go!!!

Hello everyone, this is my very first blog.  I am so excited to share that we are now 76 days till our wedding!  My goodness, it is going to be here before we know it.  Doug and I had a great Christmas in New York and Connecticut with Doug’s family. 

While we were there I was shocked speechless as the amazing women from Doug’s church in Trumbell threw me a surprise shower.  I had such a great time meeting all the women who have known Doug as he has grown up.  Thank you all again for making that such a special time.  Doug’s friend Dagney had a special devotional and words to share about being married that I treasured.  Thanks Dagney!  

We have both been back a week now, loving the warm California weather again.  Doug and I also had a chance to open some of the fun things we got from our first shower.  It felt like Christmas all over again as we were surrounded by boxes and packing paper.  We had fun finding places for the things to go and decorating. 

This weekend was also “project invitations”.  We are getting our wedding invite design put together and ready for printing.  So far I absolutely love it, but how could I not as Doug designed it?  I can’t wait to send them out to you all.  The time is going to fly by, that is what everyone keeps telling me.  I am so excited for our day to finally get here and become Mrs. Doulas Eli!
