Mr. and Mrs. Eli

That has a funny ring to it. I’m a Mr. (ok, so no change there), she is Mrs, we are ‘spouses’, husband wife…so many new ways to look at life.

I’m no longer on a mens softball team, this season it will be coed. I won’t be going to a conference in San Francisco, it is on her birthday. I added her to my credit card and costco account. Friday we go on the same car insurance policy. Soon we get a joint bank account. Eventually she will become Emily Eli, as of right now she is still Emily Van Otterloo. We were not sure when that process would be done and we are flying to New York in May. We didn’t want any surprises at the airport.

Married life has been good so far. We are enjoying seeing each other weeknights, thats a first. We get to eat dinner together (even if it is Burger Continental’s $2 special and Cherry on Top for dessert). Weekends are much more relaxed without driving back and fourth and having to pack our stuff.

We do have a lot of photos from the wedding and honeymoon to share. The official wedding photos are not yet here, so stay tuned for those. Our honeymoon photos are posted on facebook.

Emily will be along to add her thoughts to this whole ‘marriage’ thing.
