Nothing fancy, just some hands on practice with the camera, FCPX and a great screen recording program, Screenflow. I will be using video more in these updates since it allows me to do some useful hands on experimentation with the camera, microphones, lighting, editing, etc. I learn by doing and this is a nice way to double dip. Learn and update all of you in the process.

In this video you’ll see a short screen-cast of me working on the big project I’m wrapping up. William Carey Library Publishers (WCL) is the publishing company of the USCWM. It publishes only mission books. The kind of books no other publisher wants because they don’t make money. That’s OK, WCL isn’t about making money. It exists to get books to people that need them.

You’ll also see Emily doing some cleanup and prep work for Explore. Explore is a 3 day intro to the USCWM for potential recruits. A very important event that she is perfectly suited for. Hospitality, friendliness, service…all qualities that come naturally to her and are super important when new people are visiting for the first time.
