Custom typography, CSS animations, jQuery for responsive design, and a few forms tossed in there to collect user responses.

Typically the sites I make for work tend to be academic and slightly boring. This one is for a younger audience so I was able to get outside of that restrained design and have some fun. Applying some CSS tricks to give FireFox, Safari, and Chrome users some ‘progressive’ enhancements. (read: IE users don’t get the same experience)

All in all a fun project. They are quite happy with it, always nice to give them more than they ask for.

This one may look familiar. I finally decided to re-launch my site. This one is build from scratch in ExpressionEngine 2.0 and 90% of the visuals were made in Fireworks. I previously used Photoshop, but am moving over the the proper tool for the job.

I emphasized the little things on this one. Custom fonts, textures in the visual elements, some jQuery elements where useful (and occasionally just for fun).

A constantly evolving project…

This was a significant overhaul of the entire site. Content, design, software, you name it, it was re-built from the ground up. Previously it had been a static site ‘managed’ by Dreamweaver (ouch). The new site is hosted in ExpressionEngine 2, and much of the content was migrated from static HTML pages, PDF files and even a few image scans (via OCR software). The site was designed by Wiley Creative, with some edits and additions by me.
